About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website, operated by TAC Equipment (Pty) Ltd. By using the site you accept them.
Listings are invitations, not offers
Equipment listings, specifications, hours and prices on this website are provided in good faith as an invitation to do business. They may change or contain errors, and machines may be sold or withdrawn at any time. No sale is concluded through this website: all sales are subject to a written sales agreement or invoice, physical inspection, and confirmation of availability and price. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT. Transport or collection is arranged and paid for by the customer.
Used equipment
All machines are sold as used equipment. Condition descriptions reflect our assessment at the time of listing; buyers are encouraged to inspect machines at our yard or appoint their own inspector before purchase. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, are not affected.
Intellectual property
Website content and the TAC Equipment branding belong to TAC Equipment (Pty) Ltd. Manufacturer names (Wirtgen, Vögele, Bomag, HAMM, CAT, Volvo and others) are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe the machines we sell — TAC Equipment is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these manufacturers.
Liability and law
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on website content or from interruptions in availability. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
