Who we are
TAC Equipment (Pty) Ltd is a South African dealer in used road construction and mining equipment, and a responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Contact: info@tac-equipment.co.za.
What we collect and why
When you contact us — by phone, WhatsApp, email or through this website — we collect your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry, and we process it to respond to you, arrange viewings, and conclude sales. Transaction records are kept as required by tax and company law.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to operate our business — including website hosting (Vercel), database services (Supabase) and email — under their contractual safeguards. Where a sale involves financing, transport or inspection by third parties you nominate, we share only the information needed for that purpose.
Retention and security
Enquiry information is kept as long as needed to deal with your enquiry; transaction records are retained for statutory periods. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards against loss and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to processing, by contacting info@tac-equipment.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforeg.org.za).
